    BAL Variset XP - Polymer-modified controllable-setting, water and frost-resistant cementitious tile adhesive for walls and floors.

    Use for
    • Fixing ceramics, porcelain and vitrified tiles, mosaics, certain natural stone including marble (excluding translucent), terrazzo, rigid foam insulating materials and brick slips in dry or wet interior and exterior environments.
    • NOTE: Certain types of natural stone (i.e. limestone, marble, travertine and some granite) may be susceptible to staining. In this case, use of a BAL rapid-setting white adhesive is recommended. Do NOT use Rapidset for translucent marble.
    • Recommended for swimming pools/total immersion areas/showers.
    • Also suitable for installations subject to limited movement and vibration and heated screeds.
    Restrictions: NOT suitable for
    • Metal, painted or glazed surfaces, including existing tiling.
    PRODUCT INFORMATION
    • Composition: Highly polymer-modified cement-based powder.
    • Colour: Grey
    • Type/Classification: Exceeds BS EN 12004 C2F
    • Pack sizes: 20kg (powder) and 5 x 1ltr (liquid)
    • Key features: Allows user to control setting times based on room/site temperature (see guide). Ideal for fast-track tiling (can set from 20 mins). Highly flexible. Enhanced adhesion to fully vitrified/porcelain tiles and low porosity substrates. Highly water/frost-resistant. Non-slip.
    • Grout after: As required after the adhesive has set (see table)
